INTRODUCING
Shaadi Planner Organizes Your Entire Wedding In One Place.
Planning a South Asian wedding is very different from planning a traditional one-day wedding.
You aren’t managing one event, one venue and one guest list. You could be planning an engagement, Mehndi, Maiyaan, Jago, Sangeet, ceremony and reception, sometimes with different venues, vendors, guest counts and requirements for each.
Shaadi Planner was created to give you one central place to organize all of it.
Instead of creating another spreadsheet every time you realize there’s something else you need to track, you’ll have a planning system already built around the details of a South Asian wedding.
Inside, you can manage your wedding events, budget, guest information, vendors, payments and planning details without having to build the system yourself.
STEP 1
Add Your Wedding Details And Start Building Your Plan.
Every South Asian wedding looks different, so your planning system needs to work around your wedding.
Start by adding the events you’re planning and the details associated with each one. From there, Shaadi Planner becomes the central place where you can keep the information you need throughout the planning process.
Instead of wedding information living in your Notes app, screenshots, emails, text messages and separate spreadsheets, you have one place to come back to when you need to know what’s happening.
STEP 2
Keep Track Of The Details That Become Harder To Manage As The Wedding Gets Bigger.
At the beginning, wedding planning can feel manageable. You have a few vendors to research, some ideas saved on Instagram and a rough idea of who you’re inviting.
Then the decisions start adding up.
There are deposits and payment dates to remember, guest counts to update, vendors to confirm and different details attached to different events. With multiple functions happening over several days, it becomes increasingly difficult to remember what has been decided and what still needs your attention.
Shaadi Planner gives you a structured place to keep that information so you’re not rebuilding your planning system as the wedding becomes more complicated.
STEP 3
Know Where Your Wedding Planning Stands Without Having To Piece It Together.
One of the most stressful parts of planning a large wedding isn’t necessarily making the decisions. It’s keeping track of all the decisions you’ve already made.
When someone asks what you’ve paid a vendor, how many guests are attending a particular event or what’s still outstanding, you shouldn’t have to search through your email or open three different spreadsheets to find the answer.
Shaadi Planner gives you a clearer view of your wedding so you can see the information you’ve already collected and what still needs your attention.
The goal is simple: make it easier to stay organized as your wedding gets closer and the number of moving pieces increases.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Your Wedding Is Complicated Enough.
Your Planning System Shouldn’t Be.
There are a lot of moving pieces in a South Asian wedding, but being organized shouldn’t mean creating an even more complicated system to manage them.
You shouldn’t need to be an Excel expert. You shouldn’t have to spend hours building spreadsheets before you can actually use them. And you shouldn’t have to figure out what you’re supposed to be tracking while you’re already trying to plan the wedding.
That’s the reason Shaadi Planner exists.
I’ve taken the organization behind the weddings I’ve spent more than two decades planning and turned it into a system couples can use themselves.
You bring your wedding details. Shaadi Planner gives you a place to organize them.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
Shaadi Planner Is Built For Couples Who Want To Feel Organized While Planning A South Asian Wedding.
This is for you if…
✔ You’re planning multiple wedding events and need one place to keep track of everything.
✔ Wedding information is already starting to live in too many different places.
✔ You’re trying to manage vendors, payments, guests and event details at the same time.
✔ You want a planning system built with South Asian weddings in mind.
✔ You like being organized but don’t want to create an entire planning system from scratch.
✔ You’re planning your wedding yourself or want a better system to use alongside your planner.
✔ You want your partner or family to be able to understand what’s happening without asking you for every detail.
This is NOT for you if…
✖  You’re looking for someone to plan the wedding for you.
âś–Â You want a generic checklist that simply tells you what to do each month.
✖ You don’t want to enter or maintain your wedding information as you plan.
✖ You’re looking for a replacement for professional wedding planning or coordination.
WHY YOU’RE STUCK
You’re Not Disorganized. You’re Trying To Organize A South Asian Wedding With Tools That Weren’t Built For One.
You’ve probably already tried some of the obvious solutions. The problem is that most of them weren’t designed for the wedding you’re actually planning.
The generic wedding spreadsheet might work perfectly well for a ceremony and reception, but it becomes difficult to manage when you’re dealing with several events, different guest counts and dozens of vendors.
The Notes app is convenient when you need to quickly save something, but eventually you’re scrolling through months of notes trying to remember where you put the information you need.
The shared Google Doc starts off organized until everyone begins adding information and you end up with one very long document nobody wants to search through.
The group chat is great for conversations, but important decisions quickly disappear underneath hundreds of new messages.
Shaadi Planner gives your wedding information somewhere to live. Instead of trying to remember where something was saved, you have a central planning system built specifically for the kind of wedding you’re planning.
MEET THE CREATOR
I Built Shaadi Planner Because I’ve Seen How Much There Is To Keep Track Of Behind A South Asian Wedding.
I’ve been planning weddings since 2003, with much of my career spent specializing in Sikh and South Asian celebrations.
I’ve planned intimate weddings and multi-day celebrations with budgets exceeding $2 million. I’ve managed weddings with hundreds of guests, multiple venues, large vendor teams and several events happening over the course of a week.
And while guests see the beautiful part of the wedding, I see everything happening behind it.
The contracts. The payments. The guest information. The vendor details. The decisions that need to be made months in advance and the tiny details that suddenly become very important the week of the wedding.
Professional planners have systems for managing all of this because we have to.
But couples planning their own weddings are often left to build those systems themselves.
That’s what I wanted to change with Shaadi Planner.
I wanted couples to have access to an organizational system created by someone who understands the reality of planning a South Asian wedding.
Not because you need to plan your wedding like a professional planner.
Because you deserve to have the tools one would use.
REAL WEDDINGS. REAL PLANNING EXPERIENCE.
This Wasn’t Built From A Generic Wedding Planning Checklist.
Shaadi Planner is based on more than two decades of experience planning real weddings.
I’ve spent my career managing the moving pieces that couples don’t always realize they’ll need to keep track of when they first start planning.
That experience is what shaped the way Shaadi Planner is organized.
It’s not trying to teach you how to become a wedding planner. It’s giving you a better place to manage the information involved in planning your own wedding.

Shaadi Planner vs. Building It Yourself

You start with the system already created and organize your wedding information as you go.
BUILDING YOUR OWN SYSTEM
HOURS OF YOUR TIME
You decide what needs to be tracked, create the spreadsheets, build the tabs, determine how everything should connect and continue adding new systems whenever you realize you’ve forgotten something.
Both can technically work.
The question is whether you want to spend your engagement building the planning system or using one that’s already been created for you.
